When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture from your Google account. This information is used to create and manage your DocumentBuddy account.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe may collect payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.

Files and Documents

Files you upload are processed temporarily on our servers and automatically deleted within 60 minutes. We do not read, analyze, or store the content of your documents beyond what is necessary to perform the requested operation.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage data such as task counts and feature usage to improve the Service. For anonymous (non-authenticated) users, we track usage by IP address solely for rate limiting purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Google — for authentication (OAuth)

  • Anthropic — for AI-powered features (document text only, not stored)

4. Data Retention

Uploaded files are deleted within 60 minutes. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support.

5. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed download URLs, and secure file handling.

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your account information
